Blood Genesis

Synopsis:
Continuing the events revealed in Thicker Than Water, Blood Genesis unfolds into a new reign of terror. From the smoke and ash of a prophesy fulfilled, Sonja "Lullabye" Winters and her coterie--tempered in trauma and thrill--return to the quiet city of WoD Couer d'Alene. Though Lullabye holds in her left hand her liberated Sire, Martia "Ennui" Belle, her right hand grasps a herald of adversity: the Sabbat follow in the coterie's shadows, no more than yet days away.
Both seeking to conclude their acquisition of Lullabye's bloodline and to seek revenge for those she has slain, the Sabbat has sent War Packs to Couer d'Alene. Aided by an dubious Toreador antitribu contact and their own intuition, the coterie faces at least five different packs of five different clans---a Pack for each representative slain at the Giovanni Manor.
The city's Kindred, already thrown into political chaos at the deaths of former Prince, Sheriff, and Malkavian Primogen, must now face an overwhelming force with a futile resistance. Despite the consequences, the new Prince lowers the Third Tradition in a desperate attempt to Mass Embrace an army against the coming Sabbat.
With the city swollen with new conscripts, the story splits into three unique perspectives:

The perspective of the front line, where a fragile coterie of four must recognize their forthcoming demise and ask themselves the question: What becomes of hope between the acceptance of death and it's final arrival?
The perspective from the Elysium, the last bastion of defense against the approaching invasion. The childer of those in power are trapped within, forced to watch a battle that rages otuside, and victims of a battle that rages within.
And the continuing perspective of Lullabye and her coterie, now strengthened with experience and number. Exiled from the Elysium, they find themselves vulnerable to the bulk of the Sabbat force. They seek the elusive Gangrel for both protection and support for the coming night of war.
Ennui's bloodline, now burgeoning to include the Keeper and the reborn LeRoy Valentine, has observed predators on multiple sides. By word of the Prince, all caitiff present at the end of the invasion shall be slain. Without official Camarilla sanction, Lullabye and her clansmen are in danger from their very Sect, even if they can manage to avoid the ravages of Assamite antitribu, Tzimisce elders, and the strange machinations of the Malkavian clan in its entirety.
Where Thicker than Water dealt on themes of blood relations, Blood Genesis rests on the concepts of prophesy, destiny, madness, and change.
